The launch of a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Kanopus satellite from the Baikonur spaceport was initially planned for 2015 but was delayed several times in 2016. It was earlier reported that the delays were due to the spacecraft’s unpreparedness.
The Kanopus is expected to be orbited together with the Zvezda satellite, four satellites made by South Korea’s SatByul Co. Ltd, two Corvus-BC satellites, AISSat-3, Lemur+, Tyvark, the Mayak microsatellite, MKA-H developed by Dauria Aerospace and Flock 2k.
The Kanopus-V-IK satellite is designed to monitor man-made and natural disasters, look for hotbeds of forest fires, large emissions of pollutants and monitor agricultural activity and natural resources. It is equipped with an infrared camera, which, as developers expect, will help reveal forest fire hotbeds on an area of 25 square meters.
The Mayak satellite has a sunlight reflector, which will unfold after entering the orbit. The sunlight reflection will make the satellite the brightest star on the sky. The developers say it will shine brighter than Sirius, Vega and Altair and will be seen in all major cities on the Earth.

Flying Laptop Has Arrived at the Launch Site

After intensive preparations for the transport, the satellite and the support equipment were loaded onto a truck and brought to the Frankfurt airport on 24 April. Once all formalities were completed, the satellite was shipped to the company NPO Lavochkin in Moscow by cargo plane. There, the satellite’s battery was charged once more.
After a short storage period, the Flying Laptop and the equipment were brought to Baikonur by plane. They were then loaded onto a truck and brought to the launch site in the Baikonur cosmodrome, from which the satellite will be launched on 14 July on a Soyuz-Fregat rocket.
After the transport, the satellite was unpacked in the clean room at the launch site complex during the past few weeks. Thorough tests led to the conclusion that the Flying Laptop survived the transport despite the bumpy roads in Baikonur. Furthermore, after the execution of some final mechanical preparations, most prominently of the MLI, the satellite is now ready for the final software updates and configuration checks, which are planned to begin in mid-June.

据说(http://www.ecm-space.de/index.php/about-us/news)本次任务总共有73颗卫星,将在一次发射任务中进入3种不同的轨道,这不是三哥一次将100颗卫星射入相同轨道所能比拟的。地球人除了北极熊,貌似还没人做得到,弗雷盖Fregat还真不是盖的,,,
ECM Space Technologies GmbH starts launch campaign for smallsats to be launched onboard Russian Soyuz rocket

ECM Space Technologies GmbH has just started a launch campaign for 17 international smallsats to be launched this summer from Baikonur onboard the Russian Soyuz-2/Fregat launch system. Currently, launch campaign participants are busy with autonomous preparations before the final integration followed by electrical checks with Fregat upper stage.

On this mission ECM Space Technologies GmbH coordinates the launch of 17 international smallsats, in particular, the German microsats TechnoSat (Technical University of Berlin) and Flying Laptop (Institute of Space Systems of Stuttgart University) as well as CubeSat constellations coming from the US commercial companies. All CubeSats will be launched in deployers developed and manufactured by ECM Space Technologies GmbH.

The smallsats will be launched under the Contracts with GLAVKOSMOS Joint-stock company (www.glavkosmos.ru), Russian authorized Soyuz-2 launch operator. The primary Kanopus-V-IK mission is an Earth Observation satellite of the Russian State Space Corporation ROSCOSMOS.

As part of a strong partnership with GLAVKOSMOS, ECM Space Technologies GmbH also supports the launch of CubeSats developed by the Russian universities: Moscow Polytechnic University (Mayak 3U CubeSat), Moscow Aviation Institute (Iskra-MAI-85 3U CubeSat) and Kursk South West State University (Equador UTE - SWSU 1U CubeSat).

In total, 73 satellites will be launched on Kanopus-V-IK mission. Reliable Soyuz-2 launcher with a unique Fregat upper stage will ensure injection of the primary payload and smallsats into 3 different orbits. Such flexibility can not be found in any other launch system in the world.

The launch date is scheduled for the 14th of July, 2017.

从配置图上很难判断kanopus-V-IK尾部携带的重要仪器是不是UFFO-100?

曾有计划,UFFO-100寄生在Resurs-P3上于2018年发射。但是Resurs-P3早在2016年3月,UFFO/罗蒙诺索夫卫星发射前一个月就升空了,这计划做的一团乱麻!!!

怎么感觉去年装运罗蒙诺索夫卫星的一对箱子和装运kanopus-V-IK卫星的一对箱子是一样的呢?
