[美国发射] 2017年3月19日08:18,WGS-9由Delta IV M+(5,4)自卡纳维拉尔角发射

那意思,猎鹰和德尔塔在同一发射场24小时内发射是因,所以猎鹰这次不回收是果。窃以为这理由不成立。

因为发射场档期问题,推迟一天到19号早晨07:44。

发射场从支持Falcon 9转换为支持Delta IV需要43小时。

这个周期有点长.
卡角的测控都是地面勤务, 重置一次到底是哪个环节拖腿这么严重? 这些靶场8小时工作制+人手不足任务串行?

据说主要的限速步骤是重置遥测系统

The Aerojet Rocketdyne RS-68A engine for Delta IV is pictured in test at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. Problem with WGS-9’s RS-68 have delayed the WGS-9 satellite’s launch.

The Delta IV has now been in flight for four minutes and the main booster has almost completed its task. In a few seconds it will shut down and separate from the second stage and the spacecraft.

Payload Fairing Jettisoned
The payload fairing that enshrouds the spacecraft and protects it during the ascent through the densest parts of the atmosphere has now been jettisoned. The payload is now exposed to the very thin atmosphere at this level.

Two minutes into the flight of the Delta IV rocket with the SRMs having completed their task the rocket is continuing on the planned flight path into orbit using the RS-68A engine of the main booster.

The main booster will continue to burn for just over another two minutes lofting the second stage and the payload into orbit.

The TVC nozzle Solid Rocket Motors have now been jettisoned just 2.4 seconds after the first pair.

All four SRMs are now tumbling back to Earth to splash down harmlessly in the Atlantic Ocean.

SRMs are performing well
The Solid Rocket Motors are performing well and are approaching the end of their task for the day having assisted the Delta IV rocket from the confines of Earths gravity and pushed it through the densest portions of the atmosphere.

The SRMs will shortly burn out and then separate from the main booster for the Delta IV rocket. These will shut down in pairs within seconds of each other.

Max Q - the rocket is now punching through the area of Maximum Dynamic Pressure this is where the airframe is under maximum mechanical stress. After the initial liftoff this is the second most critical part of the launch sequence.

The Delta rocket boosted by the four solid rocket motors has just passed the speed of sound.

The Delta IV booster is augmented by four solid rocket motors for todays flight. The throttle profile of each motor is determined by the constituents of the propellant, with the propellant grain and combinations being different for each section of the SRM flight plan. This allows the SRMs to have differing power outputs throughout the flight.

Two of the SRMs have fixed nozzles and two are equipped with thrust vector control enabling them to be used to help steer the rocket.

Pitch and Roll manoeuvre underway
The Delta IV is now executing the pitch/yaw/roll manoeuvre that will align it for todays flight to ensure the payload is inserted in to the correct orbit.

Rising in a cloud of exhaust the Delta rocket has now cleared the umbilical service tower and is streaking into space.

The four solid rocket motors have been lit and the hold-downs released. The Delta IV rocket is starting to rise off the launch pad.
