Falcon 9 Block3确实很有竞争力,GTO5吨报价还不到6000万美元,就是不知道他们的利润率有多少。另外,随着SpaceX公司的不断扩张,还能不能保持住这个价格也未可知。在目前长征火箭基本无缘国际商业发射市场的情况下,这种冲击更多是心理层面上的。私以为,CZ-3B的报价可能是针对当时的国际市场发射费用制定的,比各家都便宜那么一些,实际成本价应该没有这么高。从当年长2捆的发展历程看,也只是通过几次商业发射就把研制费贷款赚回来了,这个利润率还是很可观的。神舟7号任务报道中火箭系统声称CZ-2F的出厂价为1.8~2亿,当然CZ-3B肯定要贵不少,但也由此看出其“成本价”并没有想象的那么高。无端猜测下,如果CZ-3B改进型适当降低利润率,发射报价控制在4亿元左右,即便不久的将来人民币升值到6,单位质量发射价格依然可以做到跟F9相当。
F9改进到Block3,已经很难再加长箭体了,Raptor氢氧上面级短时间还看不到服役的可能,GTO5吨是个坎。而CZ-3B改进型GTO已经达到了5.5吨,实际打过5.4吨的任务载荷。这个也要比F9来得大些,F9实际上只能打4吨多的国际商业卫星,而目前主流商业卫星已经大型化。CZ-3B其实还有很多改进余地,比如采用复合材料整流罩、提前运用3.35米直径的YF-75D氢氧三子级、三子级储箱改铝锂合金等等。另外,新一代的CZ7双助推构型GTO运力也在这个范围,还是很值得期待的。

美元贬值,报价上涨的可不仅是中国,俄、欧的费用也涨了不少,或多或少罢了。ISS的运输任务,毛子可没少下狠刀。

NASA上个月向国会递交的报告<Commercial Market Assessment for Crew and Cargo Systems>中提到SpaceX研发Falcon 9的全部费用是3.9亿美元(包含Falcon 1的0.9亿),但如果由NASA来完成这项工作,所需的费用是将是SpaceX的10倍。

Washington – Today, Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) announced that former Orbital Sciences executive and industry leader Mark Bitterman is joining the company’s Washington office as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. Bitterman  joins SpaceX after serving in a similar role at Orbital for 19 years.

“Mark brings a wealth of experience to SpaceX that will help us better meet the needs of our customers,” said Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX president. “Mark's leadership will ensure critical policymakers remain knowledgeable on the ways SpaceX can lower the cost and improve the reliability of accessing space, while providing the best value for the taxpayer.”

"I am thrilled about joining the SpaceX team," said Bitterman. "Over the past few years, I've watched the company establish itself as a major force in the industry and now look forward to playing a leadership role as the company enters its next phase.  My focus at SpaceX will be to further strengthen the company's relationships with Congress during a time of great challenges for the nation’s civil, commercial and military space programs."

Bitterman spent nearly two decades at Orbital Sciences Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of launch vehicles, satellites and missile systems.  Hired as director of government relations in 1992, he rose to senior vice president of government and external relations in 2000.

Prior to his time at Orbital, Bitterman spent four years at the U.S. Department of Defense as the Special Assistant for Intelligence, Special Operations, and Counter-Drug Policy to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs. Before joining the Pentagon, Mr. Bitterman spent two years as a foreign military sales specialist with TRW, Inc., and from 1986 through 1995, he was a U.S. Naval Reserve officer with the Office of Naval Intelligence.

In addition to his government relations function within Orbital, Mark has served on numerous boards and advisory groups, including the International Trade Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Commerce and U.S. Trade Representative; the Board of Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority; the Board of the Virginia Offshore Wind Development Authority; and the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Transportation.

Bitterman holds a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from Rutgers University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. He also received a certificate in National and International Security from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government Executive Education Program.

Valador Inc.服软,双方庭外和解

  Dr. Fragola confirmed that the rumor was false in that no Falcon 9 engines failed and the first stage did not explode. There was independent NASA tracking and video of the flight, and subsequent debriefing with NASA, indicating no such failures or explosions.

从文中看SpaceX有意新选场地修建一个发射场,候选地点包括德克萨斯、波多黎各和夏威夷,也可能在佛罗里达另选位置。这个发射场将专门用于商业发射,政府载荷仍从CCAFS和VAFB发射。

德克萨斯应该是排在第一顺位,靠近休斯顿,技术人员充足且经过的航线较少;波多黎各和夏威夷虽然纬度低,但都是航线密集区域,又是离岛,当地缺乏足够的技术人员且交通不便。

新场地的费用估计将由当地政府和SpaceX共同承担,个人推测新选场地的一个原因可能是由于在CCAFS,NASA和DoD的任务在日期选择上享有更高的优先级,商业发射会受限制。不过SpaceX已经接管了Delta II的processing hangar,每月一次的发射频率完全没有问题,除非SpaceX真能实现每年20次的发射频率,否则看不出新建场地的必要。
